Bowditch Watched - Ipswich Town News
Manchester United and Newcastle are the latest two Premiership clubs reported to have watched Town striker Dean Bowditch. The 17-year-old's recent hat-trick against Watford seems to have alerted scouts to his potential.
Sir Alex Ferguson's club have long been aware of Bowditch's talents and were keen to sign him on schoolboy forms, the youngster opting to remain with Town.
The Blues' youngsters have been the subject with a number of tabloid links lately, Bowditch was reportedly watched by Arsenal while Ian Westlake and Darren Bent are said to have been eyed by Manchester City. Bent has also apparently been interesting Newcastle and Tottenham.
