Elliott Staying - Ipswich Town News
On-loan defender Matt Elliott has agreed to remain at Portman Road until the end of the season. The Leicester City player had hinted as much from early on in his time with Town.
Manager Joe Royle told the club site: "I have spoken to Matt about the situation and we have an agreement that he will extend his stay with us beyond the month.
"Matt is enjoying his football here and he will remain with us for as long as we are involved in the promotion race — and hopefully that will be to the end of the season.
"He's a quality player, has provided us with leadership qualities at the back and has been a great asset to us since he has been here.”
