Brugge Turn Down Town Offer - Ipswich Town News
Reports this afternoon claim that Brugge have turned down a Town offer for Gert Verheyen. The offer is suggested by some sources as £1.5 million and others at nearer the £1.75 million level, but either way it seems it was not enough. Club Brugge are still to have their directors' meeting tonight and the deal may not be dead. Verheyen himself seems very keen to join Town saying: "I hope Brugge don't veto the transfer."
I'm sure we haven't heard the last of this...
