Reserves Game Off - Ipswich Town News
Town's reserve game at Nottingham Forest this evening was postponed, due to the Blues' coach getting stuck in traffic on the way.
The squad were trapped between junctions 17 and 18 of the A1 due to road works and an accident involving two lorries, having left Ipswich four hours prior to the scheduled kick-off time.
Reserves manager Steve McCall said: "The way the traffic was it is unlikely we would have got to the City Ground and ready to kick-off much before 9pm."
Martijn Reuser, Drissa Diallo and Alun Armstrong were due to be in action for the second string.
