Striking Decision for Joe - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle has a striking selection dilemma ahead of Saturday's home game with Nottingham Forest. Shefki Kuqi started at Gillingham but was subsituted for Richard Naylor, while Dean Bowditch is also in contention.
Royle said: "We have a good selection of front players, and don't forget we still have Pablo Couñago to come back.
"Injuries and form have obviously played a part in our selections this season, but generally we've rotated the players quite well.
"I'm not saying Shefki won't start at the weekend. We sat down together to watch a video of the Gillingham game and I was able to show him why I made my decision."
Couñago is out of action with a groin strain and is unlikely to be involved before the final weekend of the season and the play-offs, should the Blues finish in the top six.
