Twente After Reuser - Ipswich Town News
FC Twente are the latest club interested in taking Martijn Reuser back to Holland in the summer, according to the Dutch press.
Reuser, keen to leave Portman Road due his recent lack of starts, has also been linked with Willem II but is refusing to comment on the speculation, preferring to concentrate on Town's promotion push.
Manager Joe Royle said yesterday that Reuser's agent is aware of a number of Dutch clubs interested in signing the 29-year-old.
Twente, from where Town signed Arnold Muhren and Frans Thijssen in the late 70s, are currently eighth in the Eredivisie.
Reuser has another year left on his Portman Road deal after this season and is likely to have to take a pay cut to depart. The one-time Dutch international is available on a free transfer.
