Westy Player of the Year - Ipswich Town News
Young midfielder Ian Westlake was the big winner at Sunday's Supporters' Club Players Awards evening. The 20 year old picked up both the Town Player of the Year and John Kerridge Most Improved Player awards.
Westlake, who only made his full debut in the home game with West Ham in August, polled 21% of the 8,000 votes, ahead of Darren Bent in second and Kelvin Davis in third.
Striker Dean Bowditch picked up the Dale Roberts Academy Player of the Year Award.
