Reserves Face Saints - Ipswich Town News
Town's second string play their penultimate game of the season this evening at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium (KO 7pm). Steve McCall's men play the rearranged fixture at Nottingham Forest on Thursday.
Amongst the usual host of academy players in this evening's side will be seniors Chris Bart-Williams, Alun Armstrong, Drissa Diallo and Georges Santos.
Town boss Joe Royle said last week that he hoped striker Pablo Couñago would be fit to face Forest as he continues his recovery from a groin injury. The Spaniard is expected to be available if the Blues make it into the play-offs.
