Bent Arrested - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Darren Bent has been arrested after a 12-year-old boy was shot in a play area in Kesgrave on Tuesday evening. Bent was questioned by officers before being released on police bail.
The boy's mother complained to police that her son had apparently been shot with a ‘BB' gun while playing in Baird Grove, Kesgrave.
The boy was hit in the back by a pellet but did not require medical attention. Police arrested 20-year-old Bent on Wednesday morning on suspicion of possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause violence.
Bent was questioned and was released on police bail until Saturday, June 12th.
