Jim in Team of Year - Ipswich Town News
Town skipper Jim Magilton has been named in the Nationwide League Division One Team of the Season.
The Football League said the Northern Irishman has been central to Town reaching the play-offs: "Veteran midfielder Magilton has rarely been out of the Team of the Week this season as he drove Ipswich into the play-offs.
"The 35-year-old former Liverpool man has showed no sign of slowing down despite his advancing years, and his enthusiasm for the game and keen eye for a match-winning pass means he could have a season or two in him yet."
Team of the Season: Robert Green (Norwich), Danny Gabbidon (Cardiff), Calum Davenport (Coventry), Tom Huddlestone (Derby), Julio Arca (Sunderland), Graham Kavanagh (Cardiff), Jim Magilton (Ipswich), Andy Reid (Nottingham Forest), Jason Koumas (West Brom), Robbie Blake (Burnley) and Darren Huckerby (Norwich).
