A tabloid newspaper has reported that Town midfielder Jermaine Wright is interesting Premiership Southampton. Wright, named the club's players' player of the year, is out of contract at the end of June and available on a Bosman.

Blues' boss Joe Royle admitted last week that he could find it hard to keep hold of Wright, particularly if Premiership clubs show an interest.
