Town striker Darren Bent is at the centre of a second allegation regarding an incident involving a BB gun. Bent was arrested on May 12th after an incident the day before in Kesgrave in which a 12-year-old boy was hit with a plastic pellet.
A police spokesperson said that a second teenager has now made an allegation regarding the incident: "Suffolk police can confirm we have spoken to a 20-year-old man who was arrestred on Wednesday, May 12th, on suspicion of possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause violence to a 12-year-old by shot at with a BB gun.
"In connection with a second alleged incident we can also confirm we have spoken to the same man in connection with a reported incident involving another 12-year-old boy which occurred at the same time."
After his arrest Bent was released on police bail until Saturday, June 12th.
