De Vos Decision Wednesday - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Joe Royle says that Canadian defender Jason De Vos will make his decision on whether to join the Blues Wednesday. The 30-year-old Wigan player was in talks at Portman Road today.
Royle told the club site: "We have shown Jason around the place and talks have been very encouraging.
"He's the type of player I want to bring in for next season, a commanding centre-half and hopefully that's what will happen but nothing has been finalised, although we should have a decision on Wednesday."
De Vos has to weigh-up whether to accept a deal with Town or remain at Wigan where he has been offered a one-year contract. Cardiff and Stoke have also been linked with the former Darlington and Dundee United man.
Royle had been keen to tie-up the deal before he leaves to go to his holiday home in Majorca tomorrow.
