Alun No to Colchester - Ipswich Town News
Released striker Alun Armstrong has refused an approach from Colchester United. Armstrong was told earlier this week that his contract with the Blues would not renewed when it sends on June 30th.
The front man sees his future in Division One, with Stoke boss Tony Pulis and Ronnie Moore - currently at Rotherham but linked with Burnley - apparently interested.
Former Town boss George Burley, who signed Armstrong when at Portman Road, wanted to take the former Stockport and Middlesbrough man on loan last season and may again consider a move for the 29-year-old.
