Jamma Leeds Link - Ipswich Town News
Out-of-contract Town midfielder Jermaine Wright is reported to be on the verge of a move to newly-relegated Leeds United by a tabloid newspaper. Wright has been offered a new deal with Town but is understood to be interesting a number of clubs.
Wright's agent, Jonathan Barnett, recently said that there were a number of sides - some from the Premiership - considering moves for the 28-year-old.
Given the Elland Road club's well-documented financial problems and potential Premiership offers, a switch to Leeds at this stage of the summer would be a big surprise for one of Town's most impressive players during 2003/04.
Last month, Southampton were reported to be interested in the former Millwall, Wolves and Crewe man.
