Town Approached Gerrard - Ipswich Town News

Former Town loanee Paul Gerrard has revealed that the Blues showed renewed interest in him this summer. The keeper spent a month on loan with Town during 2002/03.

Gerrard has signed for Forest, where he spent time on loan last season, but says the Blues made enquiries: "There was interest from Leeds and Ipswich but I just felt that joining Forest was the right thing to do."
