Reuser Set for Medical - Ipswich Town News
Departing Town midfielder Martijn Reuser is set to have a medical with Willem II today after agreeing terms on the three-year deal. The Dutchman has been in talks with the Eredivisie club since the beginning of the week.
Reuser will have taken a massive pay-cut to join the Tilburg-based side, whose top salary is in the range of £170,000-a-year.
The former Ajax and Vitesse man's contract with the Blues had one year left on it and was worth around £600,000 per annum.
Town and Reuser will have come to an agreement regarding the remaining year of his deal, with the player likely to pick up around £300,000, probably payable over 18 months.
