Horlock Signs - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Kevin Horlock has signed a two-year deal with Town and goes straight into the squad for Saturday's pre-season game at Peterborough United (KO 3pm). The former Manchester City man has an option to sign on for a third year.
The 31-year-old is well-known to Joe Royle from their time at Manchester City together and has been promoted from Division One/The Championship three times, twice with City and once with Swindon Town.
A compatriot of Jim Magilton in the Northern Irish side, Horlock looks set to take over Chris Bart-Williams's holding role in midfield.
