U14s Win in Iceland - Ipswich Town News
Town's U14 side has won their group at the Rey Cup tournament in Iceland. The Blues won the competition last season and look on course to repeat their success.
The youngsters beat three Icelandic sides: Trottur going down 5-2, Breidablik 5-0 and KA Akureyri succumbing 3-0. The final stages are played over the weekend.
Ireland's U18s - including Town Academy players Billy Clarke, Cathal Lordan and Michael Synnott - play their final game of the Falkenberg tournament in Sweden this afternoon against the hosts.
So far the Irish have drawn 1-1 with Slovakia and beaten Norway 2-1, Clarke scoring twice.
