Leeds Back in for Bart? - Ipswich Town News
Leeds United are reported to be showing renewed interest in released Town midfielder Chris Bart-Williams. Earlier in the summer the Sierra Leone-born player turned down the chance to move to Elland Road.
Bart-Williams, who joined Town initially on loan last autumn before the Blues took on his Charlton contract, is reported to be weighing up an offer from Leeds, as well as Spanish side Real Mallorca and Italian club Atalanta.
The former Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Orient player was not offered a new deal with Town when his deal expired at the end of June.
Even after he signed for Town full-time, Charlton continued to pay much of his wages, a sum which would have been due back to them had Town been promoted.
