Hoyte Loan Target? - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that Arsenal full-back Justin Hoyte is the season-long loanee currently targeted by manager Joe Royle. The Town boss revealed at the weekend that he was after a Premiership defender on a year's loan.
Hoyte, 19, can also play at centre-half and has made good progress through the Gunners' Academy. His appearances for the first team have so far been restricted to two as sub in the league and two starts in the Carling Cup.
Last season he made his debut for the England U21s as sub against Holland, making his first start in their next match against Sweden in Kristianstad.
Reserves watchers may recall Hoyte scoring Arsenal's second goal in their 4-1 win over the Town second string at Portman Road last September.
Royle has denied a number of names linked and says that he is currently waiting on a decision from the player's club.
