Earnshaw Link - Ipswich Town News
Town are being linked with Robert Earnshaw, a Welsh U21 striker currently playing for Cardiff City. The £2.5 million-rated striker is also rumoured to be interesting Celtic as well as already having had spells training with Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday and Fulham. Some TWTD Message Board regulars may recollect his name cropping up a few weeks back, but as those posting the rumours gave no source these weren't taken too seriously at the time.
The 19-year-old has started 13 games for Cardiff as well as appearing 15 times as a sub. Manager Bobby Gould said recently of the Zambia-born player: "I wouldn’t accept any offer for Robert right now — not even a couple of million."
Perhaps suggesting £2.5 might be the right price...
