Cheryl Says Thanks - Ipswich Town News
Dale Roberts's wife Cheryl has thanked the fans and players of Town and Newcastle for supporting last night's testimonial match. Nearly 25,000 supporters turned out in tribute to Dale who died of non-Hodgkins lymphoma last year.
Cheryl told the club site: "Our family can't thank both the Town and Newcastle fans and the players from both clubs enough for providing a wonderful occasion.
"We were completely overwhelmed by the level of support shown by everyone on the night and it was great tribute to Dale."
