Joe on Osasuna - Ipswich Town News

Town boss Joe Royle says that Spanish side CA Osasuna will be an interesting test for his side, fresh from victories over Crystal Palace and Newcastle. The Pamplona club visit Portman Road on Monday evening for the Blues' traditional final European friendly of pre-season.

Royle told the club site: "Osasuna will give us a good test and being continental, will provide us with a different challenge from Palace and Newcastle.

"It's our last match before the serious stuff starts and we have certainly taken some positive things out of the two recent friendlies at Portman Road. We will be looking for further improvements on Monday.

"I have got the framework of the team in my mind and the 90 minutes against Osasuna provides me with another opportunity to take a look at a few things."
