Richards Misses Out - Ipswich Town News
Full-back Matt Richards will miss tonight's final friendly of pre-season at home to Spanish side Osasuna. Richards picked up a cut foot in the latter stages of the 2-1 win against Newcastle and will not be risked.
His place could go to youngster Scott Barron, although Joe Royle has the option of using either Fabian Wilnis or Drissa Diallo at left-back.
Skipper Jim Magilton is the subject of a fitness test today, the Northern Irishman having been substituted at half-time against the Magpies due to a thigh strain.
Fellow midfielder Ian Westlake is back after missing Wednesday's match due to an abscess on a tooth on which he has now had surgery.
Osasuna are likely to include former Coventry striker John Aloisi, Everton flop Ibrahima Bakayoko and ex-Villa man Savo Milosevic in their side.
Spanish sides are further behind English clubs in their pre-season training and Osasuna drew 0-0 with Tranmere on Friday.
Town squad: Davis, Price, Wilnis, Barron, Mitchell, Diallo, De Vos, Naylor, Magilton, Miller, Horlock, Westlake, Murray, Bent, Bowditch, Couñago, Kuqi and Nouma.
