French trialist Pascal Nouma has been given international clearance to play for the Blues against Spanish side Osasuna tonight (KO 7.45pm). The former PSG and Lens man is with Town for a week.
Also in Joe Royle's squad is full-back Matt Richards who had previously been expected to miss out due to a gashed foot sustained in the Newcastle match. He still appears unlikely to be involved.
