Town boss Joe Royle has received good news ahead of Saturday's league opener at home to Gillingham with Jason De Vos and Kevin Horlock both indicating that they are likely to be fit. The pair, signed in the summer, both limped off with minor injuries during Monday's 2-1 win against Osasuna.
Town still have concerns regarding skipper Jim Magilton (thigh strain) and Matt Richards (cut foot).
