Hoyte Deal Still On - Ipswich Town News

Arsenal defender Justin Hoyte is still likely to join the Blues on a season-long loan despite a report elsewhere suggesting he has turned down the move. TWTD first broke the story that Hoyte is Joe Royle's targeted defender early last week.

Town have neither confirmed nor denied that the 19-year-old is the player they are after, however, TWTD has been told that the delay in his signing is to allow Arsenal to bring in move cover for Lauren at right-back.

A proposed move for Ajax's Hatem Trabelsi fell through after the Tunisian failed a medical due to a knee injury. The Gunners are at present looking at alternative targets.
