Jim Out of Squad - Ipswich Town News

Town skipper Jim Magilton has been left out of the provisional squad for Saturday's game with Gillingham. Magilton is not expected to be fit, having picked up a small tear on his thigh muscle.

New signing Jason De Vos will captain the side on his debut. The Canadian is captain of his national team and was skipper at previous club Wigan.

The Blues include youngsters Scott Mitchell, Scott Barron and Antonio Murray in the 17-man squad.

Squad: Barron, Bent, Bowditch, Couñago, Davis, De Vos, Diallo, Kuqi, Horlock, Miller, Mitchell, Murray, Naylor, Price, Richards, Westlake, Wilnis.
