Nash on Way Back - Ipswich Town News
Irish central defender Gerard Nash is well on the way to a return to action after the second cruciate knee ligament operation of his short career. The 18-year-old made his senior debut in last season's 6-1 win at home to Burnley.
Nash told the club site that his recovery is progressing: "It's going well and I have been kicking a ball OK and can't wait to get going now.
"I have been working hard with our fitness coach Simon Thadani through the summer and hopefully, if everything goes well over the next few weeks, I will be back in full training at the end of the month."
