Dinning on Loan Move - Ipswich Town News
New loan signing Tomy Dinning says he's determined to win himself a permanent contract with the Blues. The Wigan midfielder has moved to Town initially on a two-month loan.
Dinning told the club site: "I'm delighted to be here, initially on loan and hopefully I can do enough in the two months to persuade the manager to make the move a permanent one.
"It didn't really work out for me at Wigan last season and now I'm looking forward to a fresh challenge at Ipswich.
"Once I knew of the club's interest I spoke to Jason De Vos, who I was with at Wigan last season, about coming here and he said it's a great place to play football.
"But I have played at Portman Road many times and I know the standing the club has in the game, so I'm really pleased to be here and looking forward to playing for Ipswich Town."
Dinning, available on a free transfer, will go straight into the squad for Wednesday's game at Nottingham Forest.
