Magilton Hopeful - Ipswich Town News
Skipper Jim Magilton says he is hopeful he may be able to return to full training by Thursday. The Northern Irishman is set to have a scan on his slightly torn thigh muscle on Monday evening.
Magilton told the club site: "I'm more optimistic than I was at the weekend and we will see how the scan goes tonight.
"If it's OK then I will train on Tuesday and Wednesday with Simon Thadani and Dave Williams and then hopefully join the other lads on Thursday.
"It's too early to tell about the weekend but I certainly feel that I have got a chance of making it."
Magilton picked up the injury during pre-season and is yet to feature in Town's league campaign.
