Seniors in Reserves - Ipswich Town News
Town coach Steve McCall says that a number of first teamers will be in action for the reserves in their FA Premier Reserve League (South) opener against Crystal Palace at Portman Road on Tuesday night (KO 7pm).
McCall said: "We will have three or four first team players in action on the night.
"It's important that some of the lads get 90 minutes under their belts and it will be a chance for some of the players that are out of the team at the moment to stake their claim for a place against Cardiff."
Recent first team subs Pablo Couñago, Fabian Wilnis and Shefki Kuqi are likely to be involved alongside reserves skipper Scott Mitchell and other Academy products.
