Town skipper Jim Magilton received good news last night after undergoing a scan on his thigh injury. The scan showed that the tear on his thigh muscle which has kept him out of action so far this season has healed.
The former Northern Ireland international says he won't be rushing things but is hopeful of involvement in Saturday's home game with Cardiff City: "I can't wait. It has been very frustrating to say the least.
"The reserves [tonight at home against Crystal Palace] may be a little early but we will see. I will join in full first-team training on Thursday and Friday and hope to be there or thereabouts for Saturday's game."
