Three in England Action - Ipswich Town News

Town have three players involved with the England U21s this evening, the most since the late 90s when Kieron Dyer, James Scowcroft, Richard Wright and David Johnson were regularly amongst those called up by Peter Taylor.

The Hull boss is once again back in charge of the U21s and named Darren Bent, Matt Richards and Ian Westlake in his first squad.

Bent, who has already scored two goals in five U21 appearances, looks most likely out of the three to make a start with Richards and Westlake probably on the bench, Taylor having picked a squad of 26.

The match against the Ukraine is being played at Middlesbrough and will be shown live by Sky Sports One (7.30pm).

Stand-in skipper Jason De Vos is in action for Canada on Wednesday against Guatemala in a World Cup qualifier in Vancouver, while second-choice keeper Lewis Price is with the Welsh U21s who face Latvia in Riga on the same day.
