Lucky Break for Jason? - Ipswich Town News
Since returning from international duty yesterday, Jason De Vos has been having scans on a suspected fracture to his fibula. The results of those scans now suggest there is no such fracture and is available for selection tomorrow.
This conflicts with scans taken in Canada but Dave Williams, Town's physio said: "We have had a look at the scans and there is no sign of a fracture.
"He has considerable bone bruising but he trained this morning and came through okay.
"The leg is sore and that is to be expected. It will heal itself in time but he will need some rest between games.
"Much of it will be down to how Jason feels but he is in contention to play against Cardiff."
Indeed, earlier in the week Jason stated that he'd be happy to play on so it's likely that the Canadian will take his place at the heart of Town's defence.
