On-loan midfielder Tony Dinning has been given permission to play for Town in the Carling Cup this evening. The club's initial agreement with Wigan was that he wouldn't be cup-tied but with the Latics close to signing Gareth Whalley, the Blues will be able to field the former Stockport and Wolves man.
Dinning, on a two-month loan at Portman Road, has been added to the squad for tonight's game with Brentford.
The 29-year-old is understood to be keen to make his switch to Town permanent once his loan spell is up and is available on a free transfer.
Revised squad: Barron, Bent, Bowditch, Couñago, Davis, Diallo, Dinning, Horlock, Kuqi, Magilton, Miller, Mitchell, Murray, Naylor, Price, Sobers, Westlake.
