Taricco Up For Sale - Ipswich Town News
Reports today say Town legend Mauricio Taricco has been put up for sale by Tottenham Hotspur.
The Argentinian is being valued at £1.5 million, £275,000 less than he cost the Londoners when he joined them two years ago.
Early in the season there was speculation that Town might buy the defender back, however, at the time Spurs were unwilling to get rid of the former Argentinos Juniors player until their new signing Ben Thatcher had established himself.
Since then Town have signed Amir Karic, while Hermann Hreidarsson has also played at full-back, so a return for one of Portman Road's favourite sons seems unlikely.
