Donny Date Set - Ipswich Town News
Town's Carling Cup second round tie at Doncaster Rovers has been arranged for Tuesday, September 21st (KO 7.45pm).
The two sides have not met since the 1950s when there were four league games, the Blues never winning at Doncaster's Belle Vue.
On Town's last trip to the South Yorkshire club, in 1958, the game ended in a 1-1 draw. Earlier that season, the Blues had won 2-0 at Portman Road.
In 1954/55 there was another 1-1 draw at Belle Vue, but Town had previously won the Portman Road fixture 5-1.
