Spurs have moved swiftly to quash the Mauricio Taricco rumour reported in this monring's papers. Director of Football David Pleat said of the story: "Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact we are more than pleased with Mauricio since his move from Ipswich and although he is only 18 months into his contract are are looking to speak to him about an improved agreement - as we are also doing with Stephen Carr."
