Joe Confirms Bent Bid - Ipswich Town News
Town manager Joe Royle has confirmed last night's reports that Charlton have made a bid for striker Darren Bent. However, Royle has not yet commented on claims that the bid was as high as £3 million.
Royle told the club site: "I can confirm that the club has received a bid from Charlton and that bid has been rejected.
"That is as far as the situation goes at the moment."
