No Worries for Town - Ipswich Town News

Town have no injury worries for the weekend with all the minor knocks received at Bradford mended. Marcus Stewart (toe and leg), Jim Magilton and Mark Venus, James Scowcroft (all ankle problems) were all under treatment earlier in the week, but all are OK for Middlesbrough. The main question is really whether George Burley wants to change a winning team. Mark Venus has done well standing in for Titus Bramble, but the wonderkid is now free of his cold and could regain his place. Up front Richard Naylor has failed to score in any of his starts so far and Burley might recall James Scowcroft. The Town ticket office had a small number of tickets left this morning and were selling to Portman Plus holders.

Coventry will be without both their Moroccans for the live Sky game with Town on November 20th. Youssef Chippo and Mustapha Hadji will be away on World Cup qualifying duty.

Frank Yallop is in the running to take over as manager of his old club the Tampa Bay Mutiny. Former Town full-back Yallop is currently coach at DC United and is one of several high profile US soccer figures linked with the job. Former US national team manager Steve Sampson and Mike Connell, a former Tampa Bay Rowdies player, are both linked with the position.

FIFA will announce their proposals on the future of transfers today. The Transfer Taskforce has been meeting now for two months and Sepp Blatter will present their conclusions prior to the results being given to the European Commission next week.
