Reserves 0-0 Watford - Ipswich Town News
Town's reserves drew their second home game of the season 0-0 against Watford on Monday night. Matt Richards came through unscathed after his recent foot injury while Pablo Couñago also completed 90 minutes.
The Blues played some nice football during the first half but were less impressive during a second period in which the visitors hit the bar twice.
Richards had a good game despite his recent spell out of action and Couñago appeared to be putting in more effort than on some previous occasions this season.
Impressive in midfield was young Irish first-year academy player Owen Garvan, while central defender Jerrome Sobers continues to make progress after joining Town from Ford United (now Redbridge) last season.
Reserves: Price, Synnott, Richards, Garvan (Manning 89), Sobers, Mitchell, Flack, Dinning, Couñago, Atay (Knights 80), Barron (Craig 89).
