Price's Senior Call - Ipswich Town News
Town keeper Lewis Price has revealed that he was briefly called into the senior Wales squad while away with the U21s at the end of last week. Price kept a clean sheet as the U21s defeated Azarbaijan 1-0 in Baku on Friday.
Price told the club site that he temporarily stepped up a level: "Mark Crossley picked up a back injury in training and the manager promoted me to the senior squad for the World Cup game with Azerbaijan.
"It was touch and go whether Mark would make it but he came through OK in the end so I stayed in the stands, but I'm counting it as my first call-up at senior level!"
