Price Warning to Bent - Ipswich Town News

Town keeper Lewis Price has warned team-mate Darren Bent that he aims to end the frontman's incredible international goal-rush when his Welsh U21 side come up against their English counterparts in October.

Bent has scored six goals in eight U21 appearances but is yet to make a start under either David Platt or new coach Peter Taylor.

More incredibly his goals have all come in the last 121 minutes of his 147 minute-long England U21 career.

However, Price, who now has two caps, has told the club site that he will be out to extend a record of his own when the sides meet at Blackburn on October 8th: "I haven't let a goal in yet for Wales and I don't intend to let Benty ruin that record when we play England.

"I'm really looking forward to that game now and I hope Darren starts - so I can keep him quiet, for once!"
