Robson to Return? - Ipswich Town News
Town chairman David Sheepshanks says he is not ruling out former boss Sir Bobby Robson returning to the club in some capacity in the future. Robson was sacked as manager of Newcastle United last week.
Sheepshanks told the club site: "No, I am not ruling it out but I am not ruling it in either.
"I have thought about it and I'm sure the supporters here have had the same thoughts.
"I would imagine Bobby will be weighing up all sorts of opportunities and there have been reports of FA interest as well.
"There would be many factors to take into consideration and I'm sure we will think about it again and if one day it was appropriate, then wouldn't it be lovely?"
