Bowditch Faces Clarke - Ipswich Town News
Two of Town's most promising young strikers come up against one another this evening when Ireland's U19s face England in Cork. Dean Bowditch is in the England squad, while Billy Clarke will want to be in the Irish side in his home town.
Clarke has been called up to the U19s having impressed in the U18s in the summer and has had a good start to the season with Town, scoring twice for the Blues' U18s and once for the reserves.
Bowditch has been capped by England at a number of levels, first coming to prominence when he scored two superb goals for the U17s against the Czech Republic at Birmingham in a live Sky game in July 2002.
