Geddis Sacked - Ipswich Town News
FA Cup-winning Town striker David Geddis was one of a number of Newcastle United coaches sacked by new boss Graeme Souness yesterday.
Geddis was number three to Sir Bobby Robson and joined second-in-command John Carver in having his contract settled by the Magpies.
Charlie Woods, Newcastle's chief scout and formerly a player and a coach with the Blues, was given notice when Robson was fired.
