Armstrong to Darlo - Ipswich Town News
Released striker Alun Armstrong looks set to join League Two side Darlington. The frontman left Portman Road in the summer, subsequently having unsuccessful trials at Bristol City and Rotherham United.
Darlo assistant manager Mark Proctor, like Armstrong a Middlesbrough old boy, said: "We're hoping he will join us, and are working hard on it.
"His pedigree is outstanding, and if he is fit enough there is no doubt that he could be a major asset to us."
