U18s Lose at Spurs - Ipswich Town News
A ten-man Town U18 side lost 3-2 at Spurs on Saturday lunchtime. The Blues were ahead on two occasions but the home side netted twice in a last five minutes during which Irish midfielder Owen Garvan was sent off.
Town went ahead through Blair Hammond on eight but Jack Maghoma got Spurs back on terms just after the half hour.
Darryl Knights put the Blues back in front on the hour, but with three minutes of the game remaining, Simon Dawkins netted Tottenham's second before Andy Barcham scored a winner as the game entered injury time.
There was still time for Garvan to get on the wrong side of the referee, picking up a second yellow card for dissent in the closing moments.
